It is the delicacy of a petal and the strength of a symbol that has accompanied our history, culture, and emotions for centuries. Yet Rosa is also a color, a shade capable of evoking tenderness, serenity, and passion. Rosa is a name, an identity, a person. It is Rosa, it is Roser. It is also a rosebush, the source from which the flower grows.
A single word, written exactly the same way, can represent entirely different realities. Objects, people, colors, feelings, and forms of life coexist within one name.
This documentary project explores the polysemy of the word Rosa, highlighting the richness of meanings contained within a single term and inviting viewers to reflect on how language shapes our perception of the world.
Because a Rosa is never just a rose.
